Hellošš¾, have you ever felt sad for no reason? Let me rephrase that, have you ever felt sad for noĀ apparentĀ reason? Sometimes thereās a reason, just that it isnāt obvious to you yet. I felt that way this evening, and I can hear someone at the back say,Ā āfemale hormones be hormoningāĀ š and honestly, the person might be right because I donāt understand how I went from a happy high to a sad low.

š©š½āš» What I worked on this week
I had a good time hosting a LIVE session on Instagram on Friday. I shared on Money Habits: small steps, BIG change. I broke down the topic into three parts:
A. Get Started: Making sense of your money
B. Get Good: Setting yourself up for financial success
C. Get Smart: Making your money work for you
And the feedback was great, people got so much value from it. You can watch the replay for free. Iām hoping to do these instagram live sessions more frequently.
I spent the better part of my Saturday doing some much-needed spring cleaning. First, I decluttered my wardrobe and oh boy! There were a handful of clothes just taking up space in my wardrobe. Then I reorganised my cloth hangers and shelves, and deep cleaned the kitchen. I was knackered yesterday.
š©š½āš» How do you deal with Jealousy?
I know this might surprise you, but I get jealous too!Ā *pauses for effect*. Shocking right? YES. I. KNOW. š. Jokes aside, though, how do you deal with jealousy? One way this feeling creeps into my heart is by comparison. Once I start comparing myself with someone else, I easily start feeling jealous towards them. Hereās the thing, I donāt think feeling jealous is bad; itās what you do with that feeling that matters. Do you let it linger in your heart and slowly turn to envy and resentment? Or do you address the feeling immediately? Here are some ways I handle feeling jealous:
I send them a note or message. Once I notice those feelings of jealousy towards someone, instead of feeling bad about the things I admire about them, I send them a message highlighting those things that made me feel jealous. A note letting them know that I admire XYZ about them. And this helps me a lot.
I cheer them on. Once I notice slight jealousy towards anyone, I go out of my way to become their number one cheerleader. I celebrate their wins with them, and I encourage them with my comments. I share their work, and I speak highly of them with others.
I pray for them. You canāt genuinely pray for someone and harbour jealousy towards them. The two cannot co-exist because you see it as answered prayers when they win.

Hereās my progress report on the new habits Iām trying to build. I did well this week except on the healthy eating front. LOL, this week was bloodyš. I ate so much food EVERY DAY. At some point, I was legit concerned, like, is something wrong with me? Why do I have such an appetite? Why is my self-control at critical levels? I hope to regain control of my appetite and cravings this week. Wish me luckš®āšØ.
